While Katie has spent years working in the film industy, she has also spent decades observing and exploring real life, traveling to nearly 60 countries to date. 

 

Katie has cycled across the Czech Republic, Vietnam, and Ireland.  She has kayaked ocean waters of Mexico, Australia, Chile, and New Zealand.  She has climbed mountains in Peru, Iceland, Costa Rica, Argentina, Fiji, Myanmar, and summited Africa's highest peak, Kilimanjaro.  She has rock climbed in Spain, Morocco, Ethiopia, Scotland, and Austria.  She has traveled by boat down the Amazon river in Brazil, ridden a camel across the Thar desert in India, learned to Surf in Indonesia, practiced Yoga in Nicaragua, documented Sufism in Turkey, and sailed the coast of Belize.  She has worked and studied in Nepal, the Cayman Islands, Italy, France, India, China, England and Japan.
