KATIE MUSTARD - an honors graduate of USC film school, has worked as a Producer and Line Producer for the past ten years during which time she has over seen the production of a dozens of feature and short films. Her first short film, SWALLOW premiered at SUNDANCE 03 and was distributed by HBO. Her following film, MAFIA MOVIE MADNESS was the official winner of the COCA COLA FILMMAKER'S CONTEST in 2004. In 2005, she produced the very successful short, IN THE MORNING which screened before the US Congress on Human Rights and won at festivals around the world, including SUNDANCE, TRIBECA and the Oscar-qualifying NASHVILLE FILM FESTIVAL. Her last short film, EVE, premiered at the VENICE Film Festival in 2008 and was directed by Natalie Portman, starring Lauren Bacall, Ben Gazzara, and Olivia Thirlby
As a feature producer, Katie has over seen production of the films JUST ADD WATER, starring Danny Devito, Justin Long & Jonah Hill; SPECIAL starring Michael Rappaport (premiering at Sundance 06), THE MISSING PERSON starring Michael Shannon & Amy Ryan (premiering Sundance 09), MADE IN CHINA which won BEST FEATURE at SXSW Film Festival 2009 and THE SON OF NO ONE starring Al Pacino, Katie Holmes, Ray Liotta, and Channing Tatum. Katie produced her first documentary feature film in 2007, AMERICAN SHOPPER, which premiered at the Seattle Int'l Film Festival and more recently, the documentary GRAND CANYON which profiles a 16 day river rafting trip with Native Americans in the Grand Canyon. Most recently, Katie Co-Produced the indie drama THE GREATEST starring Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon which premiered at Sundance 2009. In January 2010, she had her 7th film premiere at Sundance with NIGHT CATCHES US (starring Kerry Washington and Anthony Mackie), which she co-produced. In addition, Katie has shot, produced and directed twenty short documentaries inspired by her travels throughout the world. Katie is represented by William Morris Endeavor.
